The technology will initially be introduced through jackets and boots in the snow sports apparel and outdoor markets, and will include numerous future applications.

First, Satyrne is in development of a finite element (FE) software application that will guide CMF surgeons to the correct size and shape implant for each patient by simply entering in patient specific variables. Second, Satyrne’s team is designing and optimizing new standard CMF plate designs through simulation models that mimic the biomechanical functioning of the human mandible.

Concept: TerraView Corporation will commercialize Mirage’s Three-Dimensional (3D) Underground Detection and Imaging technologies and apply them in the detection and location of a variety of subsurface targets. TerraView will provide underground locating and mapping services and water table detection services to the construction industry and specifically to project owners, engineering firms, developers, and construction companies. It will also deliver near surface water content estimation services to viticulturists as this information is particularly useful for assisting the design of both vineyard layout and efficient irrigation/agrochemical application. This imposes a significant physical and psychological burden as the ostomy patient no longer has control of bowel function.
