THE ELEVATOR PITCH COMPETITION

Rules, Preparation & Requirements:

• Team presentation order will be determined by a random draw during the competition.
• Pitch is bare-bones (visual aids not allowed) and is one minute in duration.
• One representative of each team stands before the judges (and the audience) to “sell” their business venture in a concise but thorough and engaging way. Pitch person will introduce themselves and the clock will then start immediately with a hard-stop at one-minute.
• The team with the most impressive pitch wins not only cash, but also gains an important boost of confidence going into the semifinal round.
