START-UP

The Start-Up round was created in partnership with the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network.  During this round, each participating team will present an Elevator Pitch and a 15 minute formal presentation. These will be followed by 15 minutes of Q&A feedback from the judging panel. The goal is to give teams an opportunity to become familiar with the presentation site, test their technology and receive pertinent feedback on their presentation prior to the Semifinal Round.

  • Elevator Pitch practice session and feedback
  • Formal presentation followed byJudges’ feedback
  • PowerPoint projectors will be provided
  • Teams must be prepared to begin presentation at appointed time.
  • Teams must provide their own laptop computers.
  • Note to international teams : Please check to ensure that your equipment is US compatible.

Judging Criteria
The Start-Up Round Judges will provide general but limited feedback on your venture strategy but will focus more on presentation quality, structure, flow and strength of arguments.
